20240114. Notice 4. Something is missing at the NE corner of Ossington and Dupont. Oh yeah, one of my favourite industrial buildings – the 102 year-old 888 Dupont. I was shocked to see this empty corner. Back to threatened modernism tomorrow.

20210528. 4D or not 4D. That is the question. The unique concrete shade structures appear around the top and south sides of all windows for ‘heavy’ shade. Also interesting is how the entrances respond to the slope of the ground with more steps, a longer handrail and a thicker concrete pad.

Under the guise of accelerating construction for affordable housing, the Province has commenced demolition of the heritage-listed 1917-1929 Dominion Wheel and Foundries Company Buildings in the Canary District without the requisite paperwork.
