This four-storey building, once the Bank of Toronto, designed by E.J. Lennox of Toronto, has been designated a heritage building under the Ontario Heritage Act of 1975. The neo-classical attributes include a domed roof and Corinthian columns on the front. The building now sits empty after the Toronto Historical Board moved out in 1998.

Photo 20120411. WATERTABLE is permanent multimedia art under Gardiner west of Bathurst.
It only took me 18 months to find out about this! The undulating light waves are accompanied by the sound of waves too. For more information on this permanent multimedia art installation, go to http://spacingtoronto.ca/2009/10/22/watertable-art-commission-under-the-gardiner-unveiled/. When this photo was taken, the lights spanned three sections under the Gardiner Expressway.
