20150119. The tower of the modern gothic-art deco Whitney Block sits empty in Toronto.
This is the southern half of an Ontario Government office building situated east of the Ontario Legislature to which it is connected by tunnel. The building was erected in 1925 and the tower in 1932. The tower has sat empty since the late sixties.
20140726. The Royal Ontario Museum’s (ROM) grand rounded and segmented windows (c.1914, Architects Darling and Pearson).
This is the original ROM building featuring buff-coloured brick and terracotta. It faces Philosopher’s Walk and is now the west wing of the museum. The building you see facing Queen’s Park was added in 1933.

Queen’s Park subway opened in 1964 and the Ontario Power building in the background was completed in 1976.
