20201213. After 17 years of operation, the old $9 000 000 GO Bus Terminal at 141 Bay Street is being demolished.
20201207. The new Union Station bus terminal is now open but there isn’t much to see. It’s as bland as the new GO Train concourse and the boarding area is not visible to the public.
20201030. The new King-Liberty Pedestrian Bridge (connecting King Street W and Liberty Village), complementing the Strachan Ave rail trench, is almost open.
20200517. The Junction’s namesake, the Junction Crossing, is now the West Toronto Diamond Grade Separation with one track going under the other improving service for CN, CP and GO Transit.
20200406. At 3:40 PM on a Monday, Toronto’s SkyWalk and entrance to UP Express is empty.
20200317. GO Transit had barren platforms at rush hour on this day when Ontario declared a state of emergency.
20200115. Construction continues on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT at Chaplin Crescent (facing east). The LRT tunnel is below the concrete, utilities will run below the steel beams which will support future road decking.
20200114. Where The Crosstown LRT on Eglinton will go back underground into Kennedy Station.
20200106. The new GO Transit Bay Concourse at Union Station is starting to take shape and contrasts starkly from the old concourse also shown below.
