Apparently no residents will be displaced during the redevelopment of the neighbourhood in the area west of Spadina Avenue, between Queen St and Dundas St. The project will take anywhere from 12 to 15 years to complete.

Photo 20131128. The 101-year-old Dufferin Street bridge in Toronto will be demolished this weekend.
The bridge has been deemed structurally unsafe and is not viable for repair. Temporary bridges will be erected until 2016 when it will be fully rebuilt. Will we lose the stairs that serviced the old Parkdale eastbound platform too?
