20230615. The Beaches III: Inside the Beach Mall. Formerly the Allen Beach Theatre (Hymes Feldman and Watson, 1919), a 1929 ad read “A Nice Place for Nice Folks to Go.” The theatre lasted 50 years and was renovated into a mall in 1970. The architectural style of the time is still evident today.

The building will be demolished, rebuilt with 7 fewer floors and 50 more storeys on top.
