According to the Progreen Demolition website, this is one of the highest buildings (25 storeys) ever demolished in the GTA. The first Inn on the Park building, a modernist structure by architect Peter Dickinson was demolished in 2006

20220530. The googie ice cream bar (@tomsdairyfreeze, The Queensway, 1969). Googie architecture (AKA expressionist, mid-century modern, space age, populuxe, doo wop) originated in 1930s Los Angeles and features curvilinear geometric shapes and upswept roofs.
