20140425. The Buffalo Skyway off-ramp to I-190 reminds me of Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway off-ramp at Bay Street.
Toronto’s off-ramp (soon to be demolished) features a park in the middle whereas Buffalo’s off-ramp features a parking lot. Buffalo is reminiscent of a 1970s Toronto with the large number of parking lots downtown.
20140424. York Region Transit has great bus shelters with accessible heated enclosures, real-time arrival info and Presto devices on dedicated busways.
20140423. The 40-floor One Seneca Place in Buffalo is almost empty and facing foreclosure (c.1972).
I have never encountered a building only 40 years old and empty. Do you know of any others?
