20240423. The Duplate Canada Building (right, Allward & Gouinlock, 1957) and the Rolex building (left Allward & Gouinlock, 1951) have an interesting history and will be featured in my upcoming tour “Modern Scenes on St. Clair II” with Heritage Toronto.
20240422. The Daily Food Mart at 8 Pailton is an interesting building with a front facade following the road and a built-in wall. It will be replaced by a parkette north of a new condo to be built at 214 Merton.

20240411. We can finally start to see what lies beneath the ugly yellow metal cladding at 60 Queen St, a 1901 red brick building with mansard roof and corner turret.
