20230814. The Nordstrom department store at the Eaton Centre was looking quite different on July 30th. The retailer lasted less than a decade in Canada. This does not surprise me as the store had limited selection and terrible prices. What was your impression of Nordstrom?

20230811. Alcohol in Parks 5. Dovercourt Park (Aug 5) – another favourite. The park is dissected by a sidewalk connecting Salem Ave north and south. On the east is the closed off playground and to the west is a baseball field. So imbibers left and children right.

20230806. Lane South Wallace West Dufferin is one of the narrowest laneways I have seen in Toronto. The location is all in the name.
20230805. Alcohol in Parks 4. Campbell Park. You might know its location by the water tower in the distance. It is also beside the yet to be opened GO Transit Davenport Diamond Greenway. The trains are fairly quiet along this square park – a favourite so far.
